Business Development Manager - MIDLAND, TX

We are seeking an energetic and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence. Sales & Customer Relations Duties:

  • Build and maintain log-lasting relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders using CRM software tools like Salesforce.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry analysis
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the company’s customer base and revenue streams.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and service agreements to secure profitable deals.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Track industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic planning.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and effectively communicate ROI.
  • Stay current on AMGAS products, services, and industry developments.

 

Qualifications

Field & Operational Duties:

  • Work closely with operations to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in field service visits as required, representing AMGAS professionally on-site.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Business, Oil & Gas Operations, or Sales Strategy is an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (clean driving record obtained within the last 30 days).
  • Current certifications: H2S Alive, WHMIS, Standard First Aid/CPR
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the oil and gas service sector.
  • Familiarity with production chemicals, emission control equipment, or field-based oilfield operations is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is an asset.

  • Highly organized with strong time management and follow-up skills.

Field Technician - BALZAC, AB

POSITION DUTIES

  • Safely transport, install, remove emission control equipment at client field sites
  • Clean, refill emission control equipment, troubleshoot issues
  • Maintain truck and shop equipment, perform shop duties as required
  • Fill out required service tickets, maintain accurate logbook
  • Perform safety checks and regular maintenance

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Favourable Driver’s Abstract (dated within the last 30 Days)
  • Current H2S Alive
  • Current Standard First Aid & CPR
  • Completion of Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada
  • You will be required to perform some heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), use of ladders and working on elevated work sites with the ability to perform in a variety of different environments both indoor and outdoor as well as within confined spaces.

 

LOCATION, SCHEDULE & OTHER MEANINGFUL THINGS

  • This position is safety sensitive
  • The weekly shift schedule varies as needed.
  • You will be required work after hours and provide on-call rotational support.
  • This position requires that you can work out of town for weeks at a time.
  • There is increasing opportunity to travel overseas for work.

 

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WITH:

  • Oilfield experience
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Valid passport
